Greg & Leslie's Home Takes Shape!

The Garman Homes Team is really excited about our latest new home in Heron Point! We are working with Greg & Leslie to build the Havenbrook plan by Frank Betz on home site #6. And it is really coming together.

Leslie did an awesome job choosing the exterior colors and stone, everyone comments on how great this home feels! The wrap around front porch, the outside fireplace, and the second floor balcony with a view of Lake Benson make this house special. And the dog house, so cool, what a great idea! Come and check it out, I'd love to show you around Heron Point! \JG

Small Details...Head Walls

Sometimes it's the small details that add up to a BIG difference. This is certainly true in Heron Point. Garman Homes, together with Ida Terbet's team and David & Ronald Williams (the developers) have set the bar high for this community. For instance...these head walls are beautiful. Often the concrete pipe under the driveway is an after thought. In most communities I see an ugly, chipped pipe with a bunch of big rocks haphazardly arranged and sprouting weeds.

In Heron Point, we chose to be classy. And I am glad we did.

Check Out the McGinnis Ferry!

Garman Homes is so lucky to have found this perfect floor plan from Frank Betz. In fact, it is so perfect we hardly modified it! Placed on a fantastic home site near the entrance of Heron Point, this home has been popular with everyone who has stepped inside. The stone fireplace in the vaulted great room, the open kitchen/breakfast/hearth area, the huge deck, and the beautiful master bathroom combine to make this home special.

Dan and Sue liked it so much that they bought it! And lucky for us, they are allowing us a chance to show it in this year's Parade of Homes prior to moving in. But no need to wait that long, come visit us anytime. I'd love to show you through myself!

Garman Homes is proud to build in Heron Point!

Ida Terbet was right! This place is amazing! I was surprised to find wooded one-acre homesites -- some with views of the lake, some with wonderful natural areas behind them -- and so close to Raleigh! The developers, Ronald & David Williams, are local Garner boys and this is more than just another development for them. The small things they have done to make this neighborhood special are incredible...check the mailboxes, the head walls, the attention to detail on the architecture. Not to mention the landscaping!

Garman Homes is lucky to be building here. Three sales in the past couple months has shown us we are onto something big! I wanted to start this blog to share our experiences and adventures in Heron Point. I'd love to hear from any readers...drop us a comment, or send me an e-mail.
